Terms & Conditions

Warranty and Return Policies

  • Warranty Coverage:

    • All products are warranted for 3 Years from the date of delivery against defects in material or workmanship under normal operating conditions.

    • Coverage includes replacement of defective items or issuance of credit, at PEX’s discretion.

  • Exclusions:

    • Damage caused by improper installation, incorrect application, unauthorized modifications, or exposure to unsuitable operating conditions is not covered.

    • Consumable items or items subject to normal wear and tear are excluded.

  • Return Policy:

    • Returns must be requested within 30 days of receipt and require prior authorization.

    • Products must be unused, in original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

    • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless return is due to Supplier error.

    • A 10% restocking fee will be applied.

2. Lead Times and Delivery Terms

  • Standard Products: Orders for items in stock are typically shipped within 2–5 business days of order confirmation.

  • Non-Stock / Special Orders: Lead times are typically 4–6 weeks, subject to material availability and production schedules.

  • Delivery Terms:

    • Standard shipping terms are FOB Supplier’s warehouse in Florida (Incoterms 2020). Unless otherwise agreed.

    • Free Shipping for orders over $1,500

    • Title and risk of loss transfer to the Customer once goods are handed to the carrier.

  • Delays: The Supplier is not liable for delivery delays caused by force majeure events, transportation disruptions, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

3. Terms and Conditions for Physical and Electrical Parts

  • Physical Parts (non-electronic):

    • Warranted against defects in material and workmanship.

    • Must be installed and used in accordance with standard industry practices.

  • Electrical / Electronic Parts (sensors, modules):

    • Subject to the same warranty period but must be installed by qualified personnel.

    • Warranty is void if damage is due to incorrect installation, improper wiring, excessive voltage/current, or contamination (e.g., fluids, corrosion).

4. Quality Standards and Specifications

  • Compliance:

    • Products are designed and tested to meet or exceed OEM specifications.

    • Relevant emissions sensors comply with Euro VI / National VI standards.

  • Manufacturing Controls:

    • Our Manufacturers/Suppliers produces almost all critical components themselves, including the gas-sensitive chip inside the probe where they perform activation and calibration in-house, ensuring the first step of quality control.

    • Use of imported raw materials (zirconia powder, electrode materials) with proprietary formulations.

  • Testing:

    • Multi-stage QC processes: chip activation, calibration, circuit validation, and final system testing.

    • Sensors undergo environmental durability testing for dust, water, and shock resistance.

  • Certification:

    • Production facilities comply with internationally recognized quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949 – if applicable).

 

5. Additional Conditions and Requirements

  • Product Updates: Supplier reserves the right to update or modify product specifications for continuous improvement, without compromising functionality or quality.

  • Pricing: Prices are based on agreed quotations and may be adjusted due to significant changes in raw material, labor, or logistics costs.

  • Payment Terms: Standard terms are [2% discount within 14 days/Net 30 days from invoice date], unless otherwise agreed.

  • Liability: Supplier’s liability is limited to the replacement of defective goods or the value of the goods supplied. Supplier is not liable for consequential damages, loss of business, or installation/removal costs.

  • Confidentiality: Any technical documents, drawings, or pricing provided by Supplier must be treated as confidential and not disclosed to third parties without written consent.
